Meet Andrew Fraiwald, Our New Head of Ultra High Net Worth
You may have noticed some new faces in our Private Clients team recently - Andrew Fraiwald has joined us as Head of Ultra High Net Worth.
We chatted to Andrew about his new role and what it means for our clients.
Tell us about your career journey so far and what you hope the future holds for you.
My career journey has been varied - I’ve worked in numerous roles within the insurance industry and I feel this has given me a well-rounded understanding of the industry generally.
I’d like to be well established in the Ultra High Net Worth space, whilst also being a key member in the senior leadership team here at Rossborough.
What does your new role in the PC team entail?
I’ll be responsible for the line management of the Private Client team in Jersey while also managing a number of UHNW/HNW client portfolios, ensuring that they receive the highest levels of client service. Business development will also be a key part of my role, including working with Corporate Services Providers (CSPs) and other introducers.
What do you like most about your job so far?
I’ve been made to feel very welcome and am looking forward to working closely with the team. I enjoy working on complex HNW portfolios and finding solutions for clients’ needs and from what I’ve seen so far, I’ll have ample opportunity to do this at Rossborough.
I enjoy building relationships with new clients and establishing relationships with existing clients.
Are you undertaking any professional qualifications? / how committed is Rossborough to professional development and why is this important for clients?
I’ve been committed to professional development throughout my career, achieving my Certificate in Insurance as well as my CMI Diploma. I intend to work towards my Insurance Diploma in the near future.
From my short time working with Rossborough, it’s clear that personal and professional development is extremely important and that staff are encouraged and supported along the way.
Professional qualifications ensure that brokers have a deep understanding of insurance principles, products, and regulations. This expertise allows them to provide accurate advice and tailor insurance solutions to meet the specific needs of their clients.
What advice would you give clients when choosing their broker?
I’d suggest a broker with extensive experience and knowledge in the industry. This ensures they understand the unique risks and challenges you face and can provide tailored solutions.
Ensure the broker offers a comprehensive range of services that align with your needs. It is extremely important that the broker acts as an advocate for their client during the claims process, negotiating with insurers on their behalf to ensure fair and favourable outcomes.
This advocacy is particularly important in complex or disputed claims.
