What is Family Legal Protection?

Family Legal Protection is designed to cover the costs of litigation that household members may face. Examples include:

• Contract claims against a person/organisation providing defective goods or services
• Personal Injury claims against the responsible person/organisation.
• Clinical Negligence claims arising from surgical procedures, against the responsible person/organisation.
• Actions for nuisance or trespass relating to the home.
• Up to £50,000 of legal expenses.
